What is mytravelpass?

mytravelpass is a scheme funded by the Welsh Government to provide discounted bus fares to young people. It provides people in Wales aged 16 to 21 with approx 1/3 off their bus fare.

What does ‘approx 1/3 off’ mean?

Your card will provide approx  1/3 off the equivalent full adult bus fare that you would otherwise be charged for tickets purchased on board the bus. Some operators may offer additional discounts or other purchase options, please refer to your operator for the latest information.

How do I use mytravelpass?

Show your mytravelpass card to the bus driver, who will take the correct amount off the cost of your ticket.

When can I use mytravelpass?

You can use mytravelpass at any time of day and on any day of the week that the services operate, including weekends and bank holidays.

There is no restriction on the type of journey you make when you use mytravelpass. Your journey can be for school or college, visiting friends and leisure.

Who can use mytravelpass?

Anyone living in Wales aged 16 to 21 can use mytravelpass.  You should have a permanent address in Wales or attend full time education in Wales.
